Psychologists and scientists alike have found that being in a state of “flow” is directly linked to creating happiness and a joyful state of being. What is “flow”? Otherwise called, “being in the zone”, flow is when you voluntary partake in an activity where you are able to lose consciousness and become completely absorbed in the present moment.
The first thing that comes to our mind is pretty obvious, SURFING. Think about that feeling of riding a wave. Getting lost in the moment and completely letting your mind go blank as you flow with what the ocean is guiding you to do. THAT is happiness. And it’s addicting. No wonder why surfing is so good for our health.
